David Eisenbacher and his wife, Heather, have lived in Troy since 1998. They have three sons: Caleb, Trevor and Oliver.
 
David received his degree in mechanical engineering from Northern Arizona University. David is the North American Sales Manager for Alfmeier Corporation on Big Beaver Road. He both lives and works in Troy.  
 
David has a long history of volunteer activities. In 2002, he donated bone marrow that ultimately saved the life of an Australian woman. Click here for more information. David has also donated his time to Make-A-Wish Foundation, Special Olympics, Salvation Army, Big Brothers and Sisters, and Adopt-a-Trail. He has served as a fundraiser for the United Way, participated in "clean-up day" at a battered women's shelter, and served his church as youth ministry chair (prior to moving to Michigan).

David paid his own way through college holding down as many as three jobs at a time, including starting his own business rebuilding bicycles.

David and Heather are members of St. Anastasia Church in Troy.

Prior to being elected to City Council in 2002, David served the City of Troy on the Historic District Commission. In addition, he has served on the Board of Directors for his subdivision, Raintree Village Homeowners Association, taking on the role of President from 2005 to the present time. David is also a member of the Troy Charter Revision Committee and recently served as Co-Chair of Troy Futures Vision 2020.
